Great book! Loved the characters & the story. I'm such a sucker for the "I fell in love with my brothers best friend" stories. This book didn't drag along but also wasn't rushed.
Don’t Waste Your Money
Forbidden romance between a girl and her brother’s best friend are like kryptonite to me, which is why Undeniable piqued my interest. Unfortunately, I thought the story was boring and the characters unrelatable. I couldn’t understand what Holden saw in Karlie except sexual attraction and it really bothered me how Smeltzer portrayed her as so perfect. Holden, on the other hand, I liked better. He wasn’t perfect and that made him more interesting, however I didn’t fall in love with him.
As for the writing, I’ve seen worse, but as I mentioned, the story was kind of boring. I understand that the main struggle was whether or not Karlie and Holden should be involved with each other, but I thought it was a little cliche— mostly because Karlie just wasn’t believable and someone I wanted to root for.
