Under An Open Sky

Elliot Price can explain the universe. He just can’t explain why the life he carefully planned fell apart.

Nine weeks after his engagement ends, a field trip through outback Queensland puts Elliot in a 4WD with environmental researcher Max Bennett—a man who is comfortable with silence, solitude, and needing almost nothing from anyone.

Under skies darker than Elliot has seen in years, long drives become conversations, silence becomes intimacy, and a temporary journey begins to feel dangerously like something worth keeping.

But the road west has an end.

And falling in love far beyond the streetlights is one thing.

Choosing each other after they come back is another.
