Gripping, true story about a Las Vegas doorman who works the graveyard shift at the MGM Hotel on the Strip. The sights and page popping characters are unforgettable as we take a journey that will transform how we used to envision the city that never sleeps.
If you're a fan of Vegas this book is worth a read but the book tended to read more like a novel at times almost blurring the line between fiction and non-fiction. A Las Vegas doorman must have a million interesting stories to tell, and I think the author missed the boat a bit and focused too much on details off the job instead of just having each chapter be it's own cool Vegas story.
What an amazing book, I can't remember the last book I couldn't put down but this was it. Chapter after chapter, page after page I just kept reading and it did not disappoint. I can not wait until his next book, thanks Jay.
An OK read
A bit boring but readable. I was expecting more about life as a doorman in Vegas but got more about home life and other mundane aspects of ones personal life.
