Publisher Description
"The O'Malley series is one of my all-time favorites. The stories are fast-paced, gritty, sexy and downright riveting." -- USA Today Happy Ever After
Scandal. Wealth. Power. Seduction. Welcome to the world of the O'Malleys.
Ex-cop Charlotte Finch used to think there was a clear line between right and wrong. Then her fellow officers betrayed her, and the world is no longer so black and white. Especially when it's Aiden O'Malley, one of the most dangerous men in Boston, who offers her a chance for justice. The only catch: she'll have to pretend to be his fiancvee for his plan to work.
Aiden can't afford to let anyone see the man behind the mask. To run the O'Malley empire, he has to be cool and controlled at all times. But the moment he meets Charlie, they're playing with fire. Her slightest touch is enough to send him over the edge. At first their "engagement" was a way to eliminate his enemies. Now he'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe-- even if he has to destroy his own family to do it.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Robert (Forbidden Promises) combines strong chemistry, snappy plotting, and imperfect yet appealing characters in her fifth O'Malley contemporary. Driven, defensive NYPD cop Charlie Finch, daughter of an FBI agent, is discredited after her former comrades falsely brand her as a dirty cop. Mob boss Aiden O'Malley tries to maneuver his family through the treacherous shoals of fear and double-dealers; even among mobsters, there's a code of honor, and at least one family is flamboyantly not adhering to that code. It might seem counterintuitive for a crime fighter and a crime committer to hook up, but they have a common enemy, and the powerful passion that engulfs Charlie and Aiden from the outset makes their original cover story a hasty engagement believable. This installment is easily readable as a standalone, and it's a worthy addition to a sexy series. New readers will want to look up Robert's backlist.

Loved this!
In Undercover Attraction we get Aiden O’ Malley and Charlie Moreaux. Aiden propositions Charlie to be his fake fiancé to help him take down Dmitri Romanov, a russian crime lord who wants Aiden’s sister, Kiera.
Aiden and Charlie both have reasons for wanting to take down Dmitri, but find that they may have to work with him against another worse threat. Alethea and Mae Eldridge are sadist and have no honor. When Mae threatens Charlie, Kiera and Carrigan, they will soon learn they have gone too far.
I find another series I wish I had known about when book 1 came out. I love the brilliant way Katee Robert has intertwined all these characters within this series. So many characters with intriguing stories of their own.
Aiden being the head of one of the Irish organized crime families paired with Charlie, who is a former cop was an interesting pairing. Not only was the plot of the story exciting, so was the dynamics of each and every player in this series.
I’m not sure if I had read the previous books first if I would feel differently about Dmitri but I actually really liked him in this book. He’s ruthless, but Kiera is his weakness. I think their book is going to be incredible. I’m so glad I read this book! ARC provided by NetGalley.
