Vital information presented in a crystal clear, visually pleasing way

Superbly yet simply written. Beautiful photography.
Vitally important information for expectant mothers (and fathers).
The information would be of value to every member of society,
especially for those who are unknowledgeable regarding modern
changes to services available and miraculous advances in human development
of children diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Best Booklet on the Market for a DS Diagnosis

Receiving a diagnosis of Down syndrome through prenatal testing can be unexpected, confusing, and difficult for many parents. In this booklet, those individuals will receive the most up to date information about what having a child with DS might be like for them as well as a discussion of other options - including termination and adoption. Photographs of children with DS at play allow readers to observe without feeling cajoled to either continue the pregnancy or terminate. It's a beautifully done book with many resources and a fair and unbiased look at the options that most individuals will consider after a diagnosis of DS. Additionally, this booklet has been approved by many nationally recognized groups from both sides including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the National Down Syndrome Congress. I would recommend this book to any person needing more information about a diagnosis of Down syndrome; it's the best thing that you could buy (and it's free!).

Fair and unbiased

This is a fantastic resource for parents expecting a child with down syndrome. It provides a clear evaluation of your options and helps clear up some of the myths regarding children with down syndrome.

The photography is beautiful and the text clear, concise and well written. The resources at the end are invaluable.

Best of all this resource is provided for free. Amazing!
