Understanding Hard Money

“I would like to invest in real estate but I don’t have any money” is a statement that many would be real estate investors make. While investing in real estate isn’t for everyone the ability to get financing shouldn’t hold anyone back. Granted that if you are living day to day and don’t have a nickel to spare then you may not be a great candidate to rehab properties at this moment. At the same time you don’t need $100K in the bank. What you do need is a bit of flexibility via some cash in the bank or a couple of credit cards so that a $500 need doesn’t push you over the edge.
