Former Navy SEAL Declan Ward is haunted by the demons of his past and throws everything he has into his security business—Treasure Hunter Security. Dangerous archeological digs – no problem. Daring expeditions – sure thing. Museum security for invaluable exhibits – easy. But on a simple dig in the Egyptian desert, he collides with a stubborn, smart archeologist, Dr. Layne Rush, and together they get swept into a deadly treasure hunt for a mythical lost oasis. When an evil from his past reappears, Declan vows to do anything to protect Layne.

Dr. Layne Rush is dedicated to building a successful career—a promise to the parents she lost far too young. But when her dig is plagued by strange accidents, targeted by a lethal black market antiquities ring, and artifacts are stolen, she is forced to turn to Treasure Hunter Security, and to the tough, sexy, and too-used-to-giving-orders Declan. Soon her organized dig morphs into a wild treasure hunt across the desert dunes. Danger is hunting them every step of the way, and Layne and Declan must find a way to work together…to not only find the treasure but to survive.

What you'll find in this story; a cast of remarkably impressive and engaging characters, awesome storyline, picturesque and dynamic vivid scene descriptions, clever banter, unexpected surprises, agonizing moments, action, gripping suspense, horrific danger, life-threatening incidents, intoxicating jaw-dropping sensual romance, and a fabulous conclusion leaving you wanting more.

Dr. Layne Rush is in the Egypt desert on an archeologist dig and loving every minute of it. When her assistant asks her to join the group going to Dakhla for an evening of fun she passes on the invite. While alone in the tent that stores the valuable artifacts she is assaulted and robbed of all that was found. Declan’s security team is hired to protect Dr. Rush, her team and to make sure that no other artifacts are stolen from the dig. Declan believes he knows who is responsible for the robbery and if he is correct is shocked and thankful that Layne survived the onslaught of his monstrous ways. When Declan and Layne meet, the battle of who is the boss of the dig begins. As a romance between the two flourishes, horrific danger threatens their lives, and Declan realizes he will follow and protect the woman who is little by little breaking down the barriers surrounding his heart.

INCREDIBLY ENTERTAINING fast paced well written read by a truly gifted author. The author does not disappoint by giving readers a bit of history and a fascinating story that not only keeps you intrigued but has a cast of characters that are praise-worthy and spring to life with the impressive dialogue, humor, spine-chilling action, and breathtaking scene descriptions. Layne and Declan are perfectly matched; Layne’s quick-witted and soothing persona calms the tough alpha Declan. Both are courageous heroes. I absolutely relished this story as I was transported into the hot desert of Egypt, a most memorable read. If you love wild treasure hunt romances this is certainly a must-have for your library. {I was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review}. In the world of fantasy romance, the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

My first book written by Anna Hackett was On A Barbarian World. Amazing. I found myself clambering for more of her work. I purchased the next book in the series. I really wanted that in this book. The excitement, adventure. Unfortunately, I was bored through most of the book. I actually liked the characters. The world was ok too. It just didn't pull me in. I could not feel the love between Declan and Layne. I didn't even believe the bad guys were anything much. Anderson was written as a serial killer who owed millions to some underworld bad men. I just didn't buy it. It wasn't a bad story. I did enjoy the banter and the authors attention to detail. It was just not what I expected. I do recommend because I believe Ms. Hackett is an amazing writer. I've bought others books of hers that I have no problem diving in to see what adventure she takes me on. Enjoy.

Zerzura. Myth or reality? A great book!

Zerzura. Myth or reality?
Dr. Layne Rush is the lead archeologist excavating a new site in Egypt. After an attack on Layne and the theft of precious gold artifacts, a security team is hired. Declan Ward and Treasure Hunter Security are well-suited for the job. The excitement begins!

I am pleased with the prospect of Anna Hackett's new series. She wields a deft hand in bringing mythical stories to life. "Undiscovered" has tons of glorious intrigue, the nastiest villain imaginable, a 'wounded' hero and heroine who show incredible inner strength when the going gets tough, and an awesome support team. There is so much packed into this story that there is never a dull moment and new surprises at every turn. Read and enjoy! I can't wait for more!
