When one man's death exposes a complex web of lies, three couples discover the true meaning of love, loss and redemption.
I was the strong one, they said, until two words brought me to my knees.
It was a secret I didn't share with anyone. A secret that made me promise I'd never fall in love. I no longer wanted that white picket fence of every woman's dreams.
Until the unthinkable happened.
I thought I had it all with the best medical practice in the state and the woman of my dreams.
I wore a smile on my face every single day. I couldn't wait to watch her walk down the aisle and start our forever, except she never did. My runaway bride made me realize love isn't worth it.

Good story but...
This story and Perfect Love Story happened within the same timeframe that it was deja vu almost the entire Unexpected Love Story. Add to this the fact that both Gabe and Crystal would have their own POV of the same events, and it’s another layer of deja vu. I felt like I got less than 50% worth of new material.
BTW, there’s a 3rd book about Blake and Samantha. Definitely not reading it. Samantha didn’t endear herself to me from the glimpse of her in this story. And Blake - ugh! Seriously! Of all the women in the world, you pick Samantha? Knowing the ugly history/connection with your cousin, Hailey? Yuck!
I love this story and characters. This is the best book I have read so far.
An amazing read!!!
Yet another 6⭐️ read from Natasha Madison.
I love Crystal. She’s fun, outgoing, and while she was dealt a blow, she doesn’t let that hold her back from living life. Gabe is a sexy, alpha type hero who you can’t help but fall in love with, especially when he doesn’t quite come out on top in all situations. Seeing these two interact together had me cracking up a lot of the time. Crystal knew just what buttons to push with Gabe, and how to get him riled up (in more ways than one) Add in the perfect amount of suspense, and a tragedy that will have you in tears, and you won’t find a better read! I would highly recommend this book!!
