This “journey through the gallery of heaven” began many years ago from a question posed to me by my pastor, Lloyd Ziegler. He asked me “If there was a gallery in heaven, what would God say was His most prized possession - His masterpiece?” I sat down and answered that question in a short essay. Over the years, I have revisited it often, rewrote it, expanded it and used it as a part of sermons at ministry events. It has grown from a few paragraphs to the short story you are about to read. It has been a pleasure to write and an even greater pleasure to see how God has used it in the lives of His beloved daughters to show them the most startling truth of all: that we are Gods masterpiece. It is our lives, recreated in Christ Jesus that would have the prized place of honor in His gallery. It is more than just a story to read, it is a journey for you to experience. I have included personal reflection questions at the end of each chapter. I recommend that you find a quiet secluded place, put on some worship music and be brutally honest with God and yourself (it is just between you and God). You don’t have to rush through, take your time. God has something precious that He wants to show you through it.
Tell me, if you were given a guided tour of the gallery of heaven - how would it change you?
Easy read and great book. A must read!
I highly recommend!
