Inspirational autobiography
As a child of a Khmer immigrant, this story resonated with me since there are very few of these published stories. Our parents and families came to this country to escape a communist take over and they were stripped of their fulfilling and happy lives. All have heartbreaking horrors they went through however few of us truly know what our families went through since many don’t speak about it.
I appreciated hearing a pilot’s perspective of what happened during the Khmer Rouge war. This is one voice of many and I hope more people are brave enough to tell their stories.
