Publisher Description
Cristina
Monsters don’t hide in the dark.
When I met Damian Di Santo in a dark corridor of my family home I knew he was a monster.
I was a scared girl.
He was already a man.
That was when his twisted countdown began.
Marked by dead roses with sharp thorns, eight years passed each bringing me closer to becoming his. Until the eve of my eighteenth birthday.
That was the night he returned to claim me.
Damian
Circumstance put Cristina on my path.
Fate bound her to me.
Cristina and I share a common past. A single night that changed the course of our lives.
She asked me if I was a monster the night I met her.
I am.
She’s about to learn I’m her monster.
Because the countdown that began eight years ago has ended. Her time is up.
On the stroke of midnight, she’s mine.
Unholy Union contains the prologue Unholy: The Beginning

Worth it
Kind of slow but you have to ready the other books for the whole story. Worth the read I’m excited for the next book!
Good story telling
Really enjoyed this two-book series. Knight spends a good amount of time setting up the story, developing the characters’ stories and setting up for their dynamic. The cognitive and emotional process the protagonist goes through comes across as pretty realistic, yet the story is also implausible enough to still be a fun read, not a serious one. Good twists, drama-driven plot. Great character growth left me cheering for the main characters.
These books came after the series that starts with Taken, and seems like a much more developed and palatable revamp of that series. I read the Unholy series first, my first encounter with Knight’s work, and instantly enjoyed the writing, I look forward to future publications.
