Having faced down a tyrant, survived a devastating quake, and defeated merciless creatures, the blades of the Protectors—the warriors who guard the Bullik-Bronzin Clan—now remain sheathed. Harvests are plentiful, prey is abundant, and both knowledge and control of the territory are expanding.

Everything is as clan leader Vorik hoped when he'd made the arduous move to Tower Rock seasons ago.

But then his only daughter goes missing.

He launches an immediate search, but the circumstances of her disappearance only raise more questions, directing them to the dangerous landmass at the bottom of the map named the Far End—a place even experienced navigators avoid.

Many dangers await Vorik and the Protectors. The conniving sort are always lurking, and tremendous sea creatures hunt just below the surface of the Endivore Depths, but the biggest threat of all is the unmapped Far End itself.

Soon they learn why those who dare to voyage there are rarely heard from again.
