Publisher Description

Federal prisoner Timothy Sykes challenges his sentence, based on Apprendi v. New Jersey, 530 U.S. 466 (2000). He also claims that there was insufficient evidence to support the district courts finding that he used a semi-automatic assault weapon in conducting the bank robbery, and that the district court erred in applying several sentencing enhancements. We affirm Sykess conviction and sentence.
