Deserves All The Stars In The Sky!
This beautiful, small town, enemies to lovers/second chance romance, will have your heart pounding and you sighing as Cameron Kelly and Ava Decker’s emotional journey to their HEA is quite the emotional story. One that dreams and at times nightmares are made of…be warned there are some trigger warnings at the start of this book that you will need to be aware of.
Eight years ago, Cameron pretended to not remember the night that he spent with Ava. And ever since he has never forgot about their connection and the love he still has for her. But Ava has spent those years hating Cameron for how he forgot the special gift she gave to him. But now with him back in town, she knew it was time she forgot all about him…or risk losing her heart for good.
So entertaining, Cameron and Ava deserve all the stars in the sky!! Emotional, charming but sweet, steamy and heartfelt, this is one of my new favorites! I cant get enough of this Kelly Family Series! Loved it!
Second chance sports romance
A big brother’s best friend’s romance, Cameron and Ava had one night together and then, after almost being found out, Cam pretended he didn’t remember that night, making Ava hate him for 8 years.
The next 8 years of festering with hate but also want made it so that Ava couldn’t have a relationship and in the midst of a breakup, ends up being placed in close proximity to Cam.
Throughout the story, they obviously reconcile but face many barriers including Ava’s propensity to run away when she feels like she may get hurt. I liked the story overall though I wish that they were more communicative and less reactive- at least after the first couple of times! That said, sweet and steamy though trigger warning that there is some harassment and attempted violence.
