Helen wanted to break the cycle.
Raised in the deserts of Southern California by a family plagued with addiction, poverty, and trauma, Helen's life was fraught with heartache and turmoil. Nevertheless, this fueled her desire to make it out. That was until one day, she broke.
When Helen wakes up in a mental hospital, her mind is shattered, her memories are gone, and she clings to the comfort of not remembering. But, when a memory of her daughter emerges, Helen has no choice but to unearth the painful truth and face her past.
Through dual timelines, readers will be immersed in the intricate tapestry of Helen's life, gradually unraveling the events that led to her broken state.
Untitled for Now captures the difficulty of breaking chains, the essence of mother/daughter relationships, grief, compassion, and finding forgiveness for yourself. It is a novel for those who revel in the lived experiences of others and want to know that even the saddest stories can have a happy ending.

Amazing
Words can’t describe how great this book is. I found the woman who wrote it on Tik tok and from day 1 I was completely engulfed in this story. Beautifully written I spent hours reading chapter after chapter as it pulled on my heart strings. Would give this 100 stars if I could!
A book I would read again and again
Where to start? Desiree Moore has a true gift for captivation. Her debut release “Untitled for Now” had me laughing, crying, outraged, and in awe! Ms Moore, delivers a protagonist in both present day and the past. Ms Moore gives the reader the behind the scenes, personal insight into Helen’s past; as modern day Helen struggles to recall her past, whilst hospitalized. The stuggles of our leading lady, Helen, are entirely relatable while all together the making of fiction. Some scenes feel as though you have stumbled upon moments not meant to be seen by others, while others are a time for celebration. Just when you think Helen couldn’t possibly come out on top, she finds her footing, only to slip and lose it yet again. Ms Moore, beautifully, blurred the line between autobiography and fiction, in her fictionalized account of her own life. It was a captivating read, a true page turner!
