Reader Reviews of the OS X Server at Home Series

“I am tech savvy, but a complete numpty regarding server setup. I had fiddled with OSX Server, to no avail, but this book saved all. I now have Calendars shared, contacts updated, and all the other basic simple goodies that we needed.”

“This book is a must have if you want to do things right as unfortunately OS X Lion Server is fraught with Bug's and / or difficult configuration steps. You do NOT have to be any type of a guru to perform these steps as the screen captures and detailed verbiage that is provided make this a book for "dum- mies". Expert users can also benefit from it as advanced concepts are discussed.”

“This is a highly detailed configuration guide and well worth the money if you value your time. Highly recommended!!”

“Straight and simple... and it works. Better than MAC OS X Lion Server for dummies....”

“This book is Clear and straight-forward. It covers everything a person needs to know to get their Home Server up and running. It gently walks the reader through the process and includes a section on iOS devices and management without being too wordy.”

“If you're looking for something simple, easy and quick to read, and written like a set of directions, this is the perfect book for you.”

How to get the update…?

After purchasing this today, I saw online there is an update — how do I get access to the updated content/version…?

Disappointing

I purchased this book, hoping for some detailed information about how to use Server. Unfortunately, it contains little (if any) information I hadn't already found by just using Server. My questions about the subtleties remain unanswered, and my money wasted.
