Alynna leaves sunny Los Angeles in the middle of winter to take care of her dying aunt in Northern Illinois.

That's a lie – she really left LA to run away from the fact that her overly-controlling mother was having an affair with Alynna's boyfriend. She's also trying to outrun allegations of disappearing a boy back home.

Coming to her aunt's may have been a big mistake, though: the people are foul, the tiny town is in the middle of a corn field, and Aunt Evelyn is a hoarder who cries all the time.

Utility is a comedy, obviously.
