Customer Reviews
Riveting story but lacks a certain beauty
The story was definitely enthralling and truly does transport you into the world of old Hollywood. I just wish the writing was a tinge more poetic. If the prose was more artistic and beautiful it could have been a classic on par with Jane Austen and Brontë
a cultural cornerstone
perfectly illustrates the struggles of maintaining youth, fun, and femininity in a deeply capitalist and bloodsucking industry and world
Great book!
Better than I expected, I couldn’t stop reading it.
