Vampire Lake

Vampire Lake

Some places should never be remembered. Some voices should never answer.

Long before anyone called it Vampire Lake, the water was already listening.

When fifteen-year-old Benjamin Qiang leaves New Jersey and moves to Beijing, China, everything feels unfamiliar. He struggles to fit in, understand the language, and discover where he truly belongs. But just when Benjamin begins finding friendship and something deeper with a group of unforgettable new friends, strange things begin happening.

Dead fish appear where they shouldn't.

Voices whisper from drains.

Old Walkmans play without batteries.

And somewhere beneath the water, something is waiting.

As Benjamin and his friends are drawn toward the dark secrets surrounding a mysterious lake, they uncover a forgotten history filled with ancient vows, buried temples, lost souls, and a hunger that refuses to die.

But the lake doesn't simply remember the past.

It remembers them.

And before the moon disappears, Benjamin will have to face a terrifying question:

What if the monster calling your name... knows exactly who you are?

Vampire Lake is a haunting supernatural adventure about friendship, identity, love, grief, and the terrifying secrets waiting beneath the surface.

The water is calling.

Will you answer?
