For Basha Argeneau, anything is better than facing her estranged family. Even hiding out in sweltering southern California. But when a sexy immortal in black shows up determined to bring her back to the clan, she'll do anything to keep far, far away from the past she can't outrun.
Marcus Notte isn't here to play games—especially not with someone as crazy as the infamous blonde. Asked by Lucian Argeneau to bring her back for questioning, Marcus is determined to carry out Lucian's request—no matter how the seductive little mind-reading vamp feels about it.
Basha doesn't mind fighting fire with fire, especially with a hot immortal involved. But if he wants to take her away, he'll have to catch her first . . .

Bite Me If You Can
Lynsay Sands is an awesome author! The Argeneau series is the best Iv ever read. I find myself staying awake to all hours to find out more about Lucian and the clan! It seems like each book gets better and better and I find myself having a new favorite with each new book. I am now waiting for her next story involving the twins and I can't wait. I hope she keeps on writing so her die hard fans will have another adventure to ride on!! Thank you Lynsay! I give her a give five star rating!
Great story as always!
Lynsay Sands always writes funny, enthralling, and witty stories that make you laugh and continue reading til the wee hours of the morning. I literally couldn't put the book down until I'd read it all the way through. It was great and continued the storyline about Leonius from previous books. It also delved into his backstory and why he is the way he is. That he didn't initially start out as a killer makes his descent into darkness all the more poignant.
Unfortunately, Lynsay leaves the story on somewhat of a cliffhanger, leaving us guessing as to any possible resolutions. I mean Marcus and Divine get their happy ending, I think, but there's still the matter of finding Leonius and bringing him and Abaddon to justice. Also the resolution of Marcus and Divine's relationship is left in flux as well. Only if Leonius is successfully brought to justice will Lucian drop the charges against his niece, who also happens to go by the name of Basha.
But the humor and witty repartee give the story its power. Now I have to get the next book in the series to see if this cliffhanger will be resolved. Sigh.
Wonderful read!! Way too short but worth it!
Loved it! Couldn't put it down. The Argeneau family stories are amazing.
