Despite some redundancies and dimensionless supporting characters, Steel's 31st novel is a potent blend of romance and intrigue. This is one of Danielle Steele’s better books!
Many book endings, are cut short, like the author was just tired of it. This one was gripping to the last page and well-finished.
It was a great mystery, a great epic about life, love, loss, debilitating grief, betrayal, and unimaginable ego, greed, self-importance and the corruption of wealth and some of the wealthy.
