Vassals of Tragedy

Roma Westle, a wealthy widow, visits New Orleans on a fact-finding trip to discover the circumstances surrounding the death of her late husband, Orville. Sam Dupree, lawyer and friend, possesses the answers she is looking for. Sam was not only witness to Orville’s violent final minutes, but is also well aware of the terrible past leading to his demise. But information is not all Roma receives. She finds romance, another chance at love, and things in the Crescent City she neither wants nor expects.
