Dee Garcia weaves a dark and twisty retelling of Peter Pan that is mesmerizing. Peter is no hero and Cap. Hook isn’t the villain we all thought he was. Venom is a must read for Dee Garcia fans and if you aren’t a fan yet start here you will be
I really tried to like it but...
I love a good classic fantasy retelling but honestly this wasn’t it. If you’re looking for erotica this really isn’t it either. The writing is jumbled at times, with the author using terms to describe a supernatural ability but never explaining them. There are editing errors, plot holes, a rather disgusting twist at the end and irregular character development. You can’t really like any of the main characters because their personality changes all the times and seem rather immature for immortal beings.
