Together they have a daughter, Remy.

But when Remy begins having visions like her grandmother, Hope must confront an impossible truth: her mother’s gift is real—the lost Veritas exists. The Boissevains are the descendants of an ancient line of seers dating back to the early 1300s, but with this powerful gift comes a weighty responsibility that Hope doesn’t yet understand.

Pursued by a faction of the New Moral Majority government, which will stop at nothing to amass more power, Hope and Remy race across worlds as they uncover their family’s secret history that reaches back to the Crusades. Veritas will appeal to fans of Emily St. John Mandel and Deborah Harkness and was inspired by the novels of Arturo Pérez-Reverte and Fred Vargas.
