Veterans

This book is about the veterans from World War II tells individual story collected from interviews alongside the interviews are amazing portraits of the individuals.



The series ‘Veterans’ highlights the wars of past and present.

Through the use of text from interviews of my primary sources I have been able to give

a first account of what it was like and their experiences through the war and conflicts.

The portraits look at the veterans now and the identity of the sitter.

This project is very timely as there have been many anniversaries

of the WW2 and current affairs are always in the media.

I am also highlighting the wars/conflicts that don’t

have the media attention of then and now.
