Enjoyable read!
I haven’t read any other books in the series but this book packed a lot of action into a quick, enjoyable read. An alien Viking-like hero abducts an Earth woman and action moves forward from there! The characters are well drawn and motivated; the dialogue is realistic. If you like alien abduction/fated mate stories where no one is harmed, this story is for you!

Great Start To A New Series!
This new series, Starlight Vikingr, is a spin-off of the Starlight Highlanders Mail Order Brides. The Vikingar planet was destroyed three years ago by a natural disaster. The only remaining Vikingr were the males that were on ships or other planets, leaving less than 1000 of their people alive. Njal the Bloodthirsty is the captain of the Valkyr ship. He and his crew have spent three years in shock and morning. Njal has heard about the success of the Albyan people mating with Peritans, or earthlings. He appealed to the IGU and asked permission to go to Earth to seek mates. He was denied permission. So, he does what any good Vikingr does, he sneaks to Earth and kidnaps the first female he finds.
Steff works at Hot Tatties Dating Agency, and is very familiar with Aliens. She has even been to Albyan to visit some of the women that have been matched to the Albyn males. The program is an outstanding success. So, when she wakes up in a spaceship and with a huge alien, does she freak out? No way! She attacks him and tries to escape.
I absolutely loved this book and Steff is the perfect female to teach the Vikingr males that earth females will not put up with any of their crap! But Steff has a lot to learn about Njal too. When Njal starts having symptoms of Fyst, or mating fever, and Steff is abducted back by the Albyan’s things start to get really interesting!
Lots of action, laughs and good times! Can’t wait for the next book to come out!.

Great how we met story
What do you do when you are one of the last of your race, abduct a female of course. Njal went the correct routes and when that didn’t work he went back to his roots. Steff knew about aliens but never thought she would be abducted by one. If I was Steff I would have went for folding laundry instead. I’m not sure if that IGU can be trusted cause something don’t feel right but could be wrong. This was a great book and looking forward to rest of the series.
