Vindication

Prison wasn't easy, but Ray Jansen did his time and managed to come out clean on the other side. Since then, he's had to claw his way back into the real world. It took nine years, but somehow he found a way to rebuild his company and make a new life for himself. He even managed to charm his way into a romance with a beautiful socialite who also just happens to be the current partner in his latest business venture.

Isabella Martin isn't necessarily who she seems, however. There's a mysterious past lying just under her pristine surface, a traumatic history from which she hasn't fully recovered. One night with Ray will force long-forgotten memories to the present, setting off a series of catastrophic twists and turns that threaten to destroy their future. 

Soon Ray finds himself on the wrong side of the law once again as he struggles to prove his innocence. Squaring off against the forces of corruption is normally an impossible task for most ex-cons in the system, but Ray isn't most ex-cons. He's gonna wage war with everything he's got in an attempt to clear his name.  

This time, he'll be ready for them.
