“Enormously inventive and entertaining.” —Los Angeles Times
Mysterious institute. Contagious virus. Unsolved murder.
Adventure is in Tory Brennan's blood. After all, she’s the grandniece of world-famous forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan. Always up for a challenge, Tory and her science-geek friends spend their time exploring the marshlands of Loggerhead Island, home to the very off-limits Loggerhead Island Research Institute, where something strange is going on. After rescuing a stray wolfdog pup from a top-secret lab, Tory and her friends are exposed to a rare strain of canine parvovirus, changing them--and their DNA--forever. Now they are more than friends. They are a pack. They are Virals. And they're dangerous to the core. But are they unstoppable enough to catch a cold-blooded murderer?

I'll be reading the rest....!!!/;D
This is a great book.
I only have two problems.
The first one?
The reading format.
The way it's written.
It bugs the crud out of me.
And it's just like this.
How I'm writing now.
Right now.
But, it does pick up, and you do actually get full sentences and paragraphs eventually!!
But not for long.
😜😝😜
Secondly, the cussing just wasn't necessary, and I'm already bombarded from every direction in the real world, so, that just bugged me. 😕
Overall though, this is a good book with great, intriguing descriptions (I want to explore Loggerhead Isle for myself!;) and an intriguing plot. I'm actually not finished with the book yet, but I can't wait to read on and I will definitely be reading the others! 👍
Ps- I read the physical paper back version. 😘
