Praise for The Cat Star Chronicles:
"You will laugh, fall in love with an alien or two, and be truly agog at the richness Ms. Brooks brings to her worlds." —The Long and the Short of It
"Really sexy. A sizzling kind of sexy." —Bitten by Books
"A world of fantasy that will stretch the reader's imagination" —The Romance Studio
Brooks's seventh Cat Star Chronicles outer space romance (after 2010's Hero) is heavy on the eroticism and light on the SF. Avondia "Ava" Karon is fed up with working as a waitress to support her abusive boyfriend, so she books passage on a starship piloted by the sexy Daxtronian "Dax" Vandilorsk and returns to her home planet in search of her absentee father. Dax does everything in his power to woo her, and their attraction is definitely mutual. Lengthy scenes of seduction and passion are only briefly interrupted by a slow-moving by-the-numbers plot about Ava's parentage and mysterious crystal necklace. Readers in search of a more balanced SF tale should look elsewhere; this one is all about the heat.

THIS BOOK SERIES IS NOT FOR KIDS!
Just to clarify to anyone reading the reviews (And in response to the one person who did a review.) THIS BOOK SERIES IS NOTHING LIKE TWILIGHT. It's in a completely different league and has absolutely NOTHING to do with sparkly vampires or blood sucking of any kind. There's no way it could be made into a movie without losing some very importanat qualities of the characters unless its made into a porno, and most people know that outside of sex, porn stars can't act so that would ruin the series too.
These books are awesome if you like futuristic sci fi adventures with some very interesting sexual situations thrown in. Anyone who thinks something like this can be even remotely compared to Twilight and made into a PG-13 moive is way too young to be reading The Cat Star Chronicles.
A very good series!!!
I think the Cat Chronicle should be made into movies( u no after toning it down to the Rated-R to PG-13 level) which could definitely top the Twilight Saga.
