Virginity and Firsts

Failing to prepare our children sexually, is a most certain preparation for sexual failure. We see this daily in our society. Increase in sexually transmitted infections, higher teenage pregnancy rates, poor relationship choices, higher rape cases, domestic abuse and the list is endless. While some of the reasons these issues occur are complex, sex education is one of the modifiable factors that can positively influence children's outcomes in this area as adults.

For my child, having these conversations will make it easier for him to access tailored information because I know him well and know how to present information in a way that keeps him engaged and maximises his understanding of sex and its different aspects.
