Vision Quest is a celebration of the great Sioux Indian Nation, revealed in beautiful full-page, full-color portraits and highlighted by poignant personal testimonies.

This exquisite contemporary photographic documentary of the descendants of Wounded Knee and the great Sioux leaders is the result of a three-year project by price-winning photographer Don Doll. It is the story of today’s Lakotas, Dakotas, and Nakotas who have survived the broken treaties and broken promises of the past and have chosen to make a difference by continuing to carry the traditions of culture of their people to future generations.

This ebook edition features additional material by Lakota elder, Chuck Trimble. Included are maps showing loss of Native American land, and audio segments describing Native American issues, such as Spirituality, Sovereignity, Traditionalism and Activism.
