Publisher Description
An intimate photo journal exploring the lives of indigenous Taiwanese people and their place in the modern world.
Reflections of a Disappearing World is a compilation of photographs taken in Taiwan by photographers, Aaron Hosé and Chris Bremer. While making the film, Voices in the Clouds, Aaron and Chris captured the rich and diverse culture of the Taiwanese people. The indigenous tribes of the Atayal and Bunun, juxtaposed against the city sprawl of Taipei's modern multi-ethnic society, creates a visual story that reveals a side of Taiwan witnessed by few.
Originally a traveling photo exhibit, these images are now presented in an interactive fashion that allows the viewer to create their own montages. Something not possible with traditional exhibitions or hardbound photo books.
