Moira Flynn hears voices. The voices of ghosts. There’s Isabella, who seems little more than an annoyance, and Jack, who appears more aggressive. At the psychiatric hospital, as Moira’s doctor uncovers more of her past, he realizes that her ghosts are real. And one of them is determined to drag Moira into the afterlife with him.
In group therapy Moira meets Adam Blackwood. Even though Adam has been committed for treatment several times, Moira is intrigued by his charming, devil-may-care attitude. He tells Moira that he has been able to see ghosts since he was a child–and he can see hers.
Jack is suspicious of Dr. Cassano’s intentions, and jealous of Adam. Moira is afraid of Jack’s temper–she knows he can be violent and his powers are growing. She tries to ignore his threats and seeks out Adam’s help. But Adam has problems of his own.
Will Moira be able to escape the ghosts that haunt her– or will they drive her to the edge of insanity?
