Vow of Worth is book number 6 in the Vow series by Emma Renshaw and my new favorite in this series.
First of all we can all agree that Pepper Jack is the star of this book. Love him so much. What a disobedient but sweet dog.
Caroline and Kiernan went to high school together and she had a big crush on him but he doesn’t remember her.
Now Caroline Conroy is a veterinarian and Pepper Jack’s new vet and trainer.
My heart broke for Caroline and how her family treated her. I wanted to crawl into the book and slap her mom and sister. Glad when ahe finally stood up to them.
I wanted to know Kiernan’s story when I first started this series. I was intrigued and Emma didn’t disappoint. Love him more now.
Sometimes the happiest people are the most hurt inside. Kiernan was always the happy go lucky guy, the joker. But now that we know his story I wanted to hug him so hard.
Love how protective he was of Caroline.
Love the attraction and the chemistry between Caroline and Kiernan. They were perfect for each other.
The storyline and the suspense was great and it was a awesome read.
I can’t wait for the next book and hope that it’s Maddox’ book.
So excited that Emma brought us back to this book world!
So excited that Emma brought us back to this book world! I loved every book in this series, so this installment was right up my alley! After Kiernan adopts a dog that turns out to be his match, he takes him to the best vet in town who just happens to be Caroline. When Caroline walks into the room and finds out that she actually knows her patient’s parent, she has a full range of emotions. Kiernan is immediately attracted to Caroline and doesn’t understand why she doesn’t reciprocate the feelings, and it makes him pursue her even more. But when Caroline has a stalker and Kiernan is the best in town to figure out who it is and save her, she reluctantly agrees, and it starts the process of letting him into her life outside of her job. My heart hurt for both of the main characters in this story, for similar reasons being their past/home lives with their families. I was so extremely happy that these two found their way to each other and that they both made the others better people in their past situations. The suspense per usual was amazing and I didn’t see it coming at all who Caroline’s stalker was although I should have! I loved the storyline and can’t wait to see what’s next from Emma!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wow for the latest Vow
Emma Renshaw writes pure gold! Vow of Worth completes the Vow series in the best possible way! Kiernan and Caroline come to life in this beautiful love story with the perfect amount of mystery. There was plenty of passion between these characters and enough twists and turns to keep me on my toes. Emma proves, yet again, that she is a master of the suspenseful romance genre.
