Broachie, a story of a precocious puppy is inspired by granddaughter, Elise, who as a baby, thought sleeping was a waste of time.
Broachie misses out on the excitement at the zoo with all his siblings. He learns a lesson of why sleeping is necessary in order to have fun the next day.
