On January 1, 2012, the world woke with enhanced psychic powers and as Rhiannon Dukker learns, some Gifts come with strings attached.

Rhiannon never wanted to be a hero but the Transformation left her with little choice. After four years of standing up for the rights of the innocent, however, she called it quits, packed her bags, and left that life behind for good.

Or so she thought until her past comes knocking on her door.

The emergency broadcast system is crying Amber Alert and she's expected to accomplish what the police can't" find the missing children. It will take all of Rhiannon's training, experience, and a whole lot of luck to achieve that goal. Although, the way Rhiannon sees it she has no choice. She must either succeed or try and fail. To do nothing is to condemn herself to a lifetime of guilt.
