Walking Through the Valley

The sixth novel in the Journey Home novel series, WALKING THROUGH THE VALLEY continues the saga of Gideon Taylor, a Federal surgeon during the Civil War. In this sixth novel, Gideon is called back to Ohio to help a young man, Garrett Michaels, who served as a steward during the war. While in Ohio Gideon receives an urgent telegram to return home so he leaves promptly, but his trip home is delayed by a steamboat accident on the Ohio River.
