Publisher Description
Painfully shy plant mom Violet Parker is about to experience the thrill of a lifetime when her ultimate TV crush lands on her doorstep.
Desperate to rehab his public image after a PR disaster, British heartthrob/actor Jack Grant needs a wholesome fake girlfriend for the summer to keep his job as a historical romance hero. Violet, meanwhile, needs help stepping out of her comfort zone so her fledgling flower and plant shop, Bloom, will thrive.
They'll fake date as they promote Bloom as the resident 'Plant Parents' and restore Jack's reputation. But things start to blur when Jack learns about Violet's very secret, not-so-wholesome 'want to try list' and they agree to no-strings pleasure for the summer. A fake summer fling will just scratch their itch and let Violet live out her wildest fantasies, right?
Can they keep their hearts to themselves, or will this 'no strings' relationship tie them permanently together in love?

Wonderful book
Very cute and steamy story! Violet was so cute and quirky and just the perfect woman. I loved that she was a little insecure and curvy. I can definitely relate. Jack was just the perfect gentleman from his accent to his mannerisms and how he really really cared for and loved Violet. I loved that no matter what happened. He always put her first and that he was attracted to her regardless of her flaws and regardless of how she seen herself. I really enjoyed this book. The steam was perfect and it flowed well with the story.
I received an advance, reader copy, and I am voluntarily, leaving my honest review!
Flowers and Love Bloom
This is the first book I have read by author Elsie Kennedy, and the second book in her In Love Fairwick Falls series. I was excited to read a book about a plus size character, you don’t see those anywhere. This story follows a curvy, caring plant lover who would rather be in her greenhouse, garden or inside her store Bloom (that she owns with her two sisters Rose and Lily), than the center of attention. She’s known as the town's plant whisperer and a huge fan of “Beyond the Manor Walls” and of course a huge fan girl of Lord Eagleton, Jack Grant, who just so happens to land in her greenhouse needing a place to stay with his cat Todderick aka Todd.
After a scandal and stint in jail, Jack needs to hide out, so he comes to Fairwick Falls, PA, where one of his friends lives. To help Jack’s career and help Violet become strong confident woman, they agree to fake-date each other while he’s in town. But as with any fake dating scenario feelings form between them and they add a no-strings attached addendum. Their feelings develop that they can’t stop.
Sweet and spicy rom com!
The second book in Elise Kennedy’s series, this book focuses on Violet. If you like fake dating, plants, and a British MMC, you’ll love this book!
I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
