Taboo and Perfect
Absolutely enjoyed. Taboo with a touch of trigger. The development of this story is amazing and I can’t wait to get to the second part of the duet. Such an intense read in the best way.

Love the start of this new series!
Ooooo....Lynn Burke has embraced the dark side and I like it a lot! Her writing is always something I can count on to enjoy and she does not disappoint with this dark romance lover. This book has angsty steam, forbidden taboo, and young love with added darkness. The cocky self-aware Gideon (MMC) has no problem teasing the sweet new step-sister about what she secretly is wanting. While Addilyn (FMC) was raised by her mom, to be about poise and chaste living, to her Gideon is messy, sick minded and a step-brother she wants to hate. But in the end he might not be the threat she thinks he is. I really love their characters and the weird connection they both feel from the start. The cliffie in this book is dark and has me wanting more. I can't wait to read the second book to this duet. Heed trigger warnings 4.5/Stars
