In the follow-up to Risking It All, hailed by Lauren Layne as “the perfect escapist read,” the heartthrobs of the Naked Men blog and podcast get a little too real about friendship, love, and sex. For one wealthy bachelor, the trouble starts when all three collide. . . .
After narrowly surviving a bus crash in high school with his best friends, science geek Knox Davis resolved to become so successful that he could have anything and everything he wants. Now he’s über-wealthy, a huge business success, and a notorious ladies’ man. Knox refuses to limit himself to one woman, but when his latest conquest—a blond beauty from the Alaskan bush—challenges his superficial ways, Knox begins to see the world through her eyes, and finds he likes what he sees.
A nurturer at heart, Madison Abbott wants to put down roots. She left Alaska to meet Mr. Right—and to track down Logan, the half-brother she’s never met. Instead, she finds Knox. Although the sexy-as-sin bachelor may not seem like marriage material, Madison’s starting to think that Knox is The One. But Knox refuses to settle down, especially once he learns that Madison is his best friend’s little sister. Now it’s up to her to convince Knox that she’s everything he really wants.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
The second book in Barth's Naked Men contemporary romance series (after Risking it All) sparkles with friendships, a touch of humor, and a fresh, bright voice. Intelligent, ambitious, forthright Madison came from Alaska to Washington, D.C., for three things: her wonderful new job at the Library of Congress, a family, and the half-brother she never knew existed. Knox overcame a hardscrabble childhood and tragedy in his teen years, thanks to his brains and the loyalty of his best friends. The hard times taught him to take everything life has to offer and not miss a moment. When Madison nearly follows her selfie stick into rush-hour traffic, he seizes the moment by seizing the woman. They hit it off immediately, but she won't tolerate a womanizer. He has to find a way to overcome his infamous love of variety while remaining true to himself and the promises made in his youth. The usual pretense in relationships is stripped away faster than the protagonists' clothes, allowing friendship and passion to shine. The standard male/female dynamic is certainly at play, but the less traditional aspects of the story, including both characters' refreshing forthrightness and Knox's purely delightful group of buddies, create multi-layered richness that readers will savor.

Wicked funny banter and friendships that have endured
Wanting It All, who wouldn’t, but what would you be willing to give up to find your perfect match?
Madison Abbott is in heading to Washington DC for a new job and to reunite with a big brother she never knew she had. She and her mother have struggled but made a good life in Alaska, now she is about to see the world. She is an honest to God, librarian and thrilled about her new appointment in the national library. Oh, did I mention, she’s planning on finding a husband.
Knox Davis was the geek who used his smarts to become a billionaire.
Knox lives life fast and hard. Emotionally scarred by a near death experience in the Alps as a kid, Knox’s goal was not to die a virgin…well, he’s screwed his way through all that states and then some.
I'm sure you can guess where this is heading. Knox meets Madison and boy do they get along...
When Knox and Madison meet the “one-night stand” is out of this world and he finds himself wanting a little more. He’s all on board and really enjoying his time with Madison until he discovers that Madison is his best friend’s illegitimate little sister. Quite frankly, Madison was his match intellectually as well as calling him on his party privilege ways until he discovers her relationship with his BFF.
This story was flat out fun. Wicked funny banter and friendships that have endured…well a life threatening crisis and so much more, then add in some romance and it makes for some fantastic reading.

Enjoyable series
Madison is a woman who knows what she wants and sets about getting it. Occasionally she hits a wall or gives into self doubt but not for long. Knox never saw her coming until he was too deep. I loved their honesty between each other and the heat they shared without hesitation. I enjoyed this second book in the Naked Men series and look forward to the others finding their futures. Each story has ended but not totally, and I like how the characters are still finding themselves in the next book. I highly recommend this story and the series.

Sweet & Sexy. Fantastic Read!
Fantastic! This is the second book in the Naked Man Series. This is Knox and Madison's' story and it is such a fantastic read, I had a hard time putting it down. The Naked Men are a group of friends who survive a horrific bus accident in the Swiss Alps when they were in High School. To stay close when they went off to different colleges they started a blog so they could communicate with one another about what was going on in their life. Ten years later after that horrific tragedy they are living together in Washington DC.
Knox Davies grew up dirt poor. Having a mother who always emphasized experiences over material things, he kept a list of everything new he did. When he won a full scholarship to Roosevelt Prep High School he promised himself that his years there would open doors to experiences he'd never imagined. But being poor and a nerd to boot, had been hard on Knox. So when he realized on that mountain top that he had waited his whole lonely geek-tastic life to finally have friends like this, to have the feeling of belonging, for a boy who had only had books and computers his whole life it was everything. And he also didn't want to die a virgin. So he decided right then, that he wouldn't miss a single opportunity to do so for the rest of his life. Now Knox had everything, that money could buy and was known for his womanizing ways, there were no repeats for him, one and done. So when he was almost hit in the face by a flying metal rod, and had to grabbed a woman who was lunging after the rod into rush hour traffic, he noticed a bunch, her height, silky golden hair, big breasts, she was firm, delectable and had muscles. After talking briefly he asked her out on a date because that was how Knox rolled. But when Madison Abbott challenged him about how would she know he would be a good date for her first night in DC he kissed her.
Madison Abbott had just moved to Washington DC from Alaska. She would start her new job in two days at the Library of Congress. She was on a mission, to find her half brother that she just found out about, find a husband and live HEA. Of course she didn't tell Knox all this. But lucky for her she was from Alaska and Knox had never hooked up with anyone from Alaska. You see he still keeps his list and that is one of the four states he still hasn't shaded in on his two maps of the world and USA. She was also smart with a degree and in his book, smarties turned him on and always got a second date. But Madison is one down to earth girl she is not impressed by his money and he can't buy her affection. But she was down for fun and new experiences and so was Knox. As the dates continue and Madison continues to challenge Knox, even arguing about different things, they are still having fun. Their chemistry is sizzling as well as the connection they have together. But when she mentions that he might not be marriage material and let's it slip that she is looking for a husband Knox reminds her that he never wants to get married. Will this be the end for Knox and Madison? Will Madison get her HEA? Will Madison Find her half brother? You will need to read to find out.
Loved this sweet, fun adorable upbeat romance story, and so will you. Loved Madison and Knox and all their witty banter and sizzling new experiences. Knox has met his match Don't miss out on the Naked Men series the secondary characters add so much to these stories. Loved it all! Highly Recommended!
