Trevor
After getting dumped, the last thing I need is to take on my advisor’s niece as a new roommate. For starters, she’s hot. Like, sexy librarian hot. But I need my advisor’s recommendation for a job after graduation, so I’m going to keep my dirty little fantasies to myself… and stay far away from my sexy little roomie.
Natalie
I’m done with men. After my last dating disaster, I can’t afford to get derailed again. So when my aunt claims to have found me the perfect roommate, I’m willing to give it a shot. He’s one of my aunt’s best students, so how distracting could he be?
Then Trevor opens the door to my new apartment, muscled, shirtless, tattooed, and so… arrogant. How can one guy be such a dick? He’s bossy, and annoying...and scorching hot.
As the battle lines get drawn, they’re each determined to ignore, or annoy, the other. Who will end up on top?

Nice college romance
This is a nice college aged romance about roommates to lovers. Trevor's girlfriend walks out on him and leaves him in need of a roommate to afford the rent. In comes Natalie, the niece of his academic advisor. Talk about muddying the waters.
They are both attracted to each other but unsure how the other feels and skeptical about getting involved with anyone.
I was disappointed in Trevor when he let his co-worker continue to serve Natalie alcohol knowing she was hammered. But I guess that's what a normal college guy would do. I just thought that he would have more respect for her. But he redeemed himself when he was there for her and her Aunt Patty during Uncle Sidney's medical scare.
The book did leave me wondering how it worked out with them after graduation. They were planning a long distance romance, but those are rough on relationships and I'm curious how that works out. I also want to know if Cage and Talia ever told him about their relationship and what his response was.
Short and sexy
This book is part of a series but can definitely act as a stand-alone. Readers are introduced to Trevor who is Talia’s brother. Talia was the main character in Wild. What I thought was neat is that these books are going on simultaneously. So we get to see how Trevor felt while trying to make sure Talia was alright. I loved that they made sure to include elements of Talia’s story throughout. This book opens up with Trevor being blindsided by his girlfriend of two years. He needs a roommate quick and his mentor knows just the person. In walks Natalie. She has just broken up with her cheating boyfriend and is looking for a new start. Oh, the sparks fly immediately. Readers will be on pins and needles wondering if they will ever do the do. I loved the characters in this book. I think they were well developed despite how short the story was. I did feel like the ending was a little rushed but I loved how it turned out in the end. I hope we get more out of this series. I would love to see how these couples get along in the future, maybe a group trip. Hint, hint.
