War of the Roses: A Steamy Romantic Comedy (A Petal Plucker Prelude‪)‬

Publisher Description

The man I hate might be the first one to pluck my petals…

Confession: I, Dandelion “Dani” Wright, am twenty-six years old and have yet to be deflowered. It didn't matter, until Jacob West walks back into my life.

This Jacob is no boy, though: he’s all man now—confident, charming, and so sexy my metaphorical blossoms are getting scorched.

I can almost forget I’m supposed to hate him forever. Almost.

War of the Roses is a 10,000-word prelude to Petal Plucker: A Steamy Romantic Comedy and shouldn’t be read as a standalone.

Now after a decade Jacob’s back and Dani is a hot mess over it. This is a fun, get to know Dani, her parents, two sisters, her best friend and Jacob along with their competing flower shops. Disappointing

It’s just a few chapters not the whole book. I’m sure it would be a good book if it was all there. Just a sample 🙄 I gave it two stars instead of one cause of the dad selfie 😉

Fun read

What a fun and quirky story. Dandelion and Jacob are on a rocky slope from their time together in high school. Can’t wait to find out what’s next in their journey.
