Really good book but bad ending

I loved this book and the whole series in general. However, this books ending was anticlimactic and boring. The biggest issue I had with the ending was that Mare suddenly decided, out of the blue, that she needed space from Cal. This did not make sense and turned the ending into something less exciting. I expected more from the finally of an incredible series.

Worst Ending Ever

I read all four books anticipating a great ending. How disappointing to read all these books to get a crappy ending. It left me feeling like the book was incomplete. Also, they made Mare look weak with her ability. She had a strong ability but always ended up hurt or in a dying situation. Why couldn’t she expand her ability like the others with electricity? I’m not sure I will read any more book written by Victoria. What a waste of money!

It had it’s moments...

I read Red Queen, Glass Sword, and King’s Cage and loved them, but War Storm was a disappointment. yes it did have it’s moments, some pretty cool battles. Well, read it for yourself, maybe you’ll love it... Red Queen and King’s Cage are my favorite books of the series so far. The book focused too much on Evangeline and her problems and some thing were just really cheesy in my mind. Her endings are usually shocking and amazing, but not this one.
The end disappointed me. I wish it had more of a conclusion, say what happened to the characters. To be honest, I cried when Maven died, I really wanted him to sort of redeem himself. He did sort of let Mare kill him. Plus, the love story with Evangeline... I just skimmed through those parts. They focused too much on that and it was kinda pointless... drove away from the main point of the story. Then Evangeline was trying to get mare together with cal and I’m like this is ridiculous, I like cal and all but mare and maven are the best
