Warlord of Mars

Warlord of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs is a novel that tells the story of John Carter, a Confederate soldier who is transported to Mars. On Mars, Carter finds himself in the middle of a conflict between the Martian races of the Red and White Martians. Carter eventually becomes the Warlord of Mars, leading the Martian armies to victory against the Red Martians.
