Warm Comforts
Good story, but the editing was bad. There was a constant misuse of homophones.
THE ERRORS DESTROYED THE ENJOYMENT AND FLOW OF THE STORY
I enjoyed the storyline very much but the errors in the writing were very disturbing. At times there are words missing, at others, there are extra words that don’t belong there. The use of the incorrect “too” almost made me stop reading. “Too” means “in addition to”. It was totally inappropriate in the context it was used. Was this an AI project?

The storyline is okay, but I couldn’t finish the last few chapters. Spousal abuse and the trauma that goes with it, is an important, mature topic, but the writing here is rather juvenile for such a topic. The book seems like a first-attempt at writing. Not “bad”, but certainly needs some sprucing-up.
