Fake water shimmered on the ground. The hot sun blazed down on two cats, one sandy and one black and white. The sounds were inaudible, but Ginny knew they were talking. Her red and blue eyes flicked back and forth, scanning the forest around her. She spotted a thrush, but before she could move, the sandy cat caught it. She made the move to hiss in their ear, but found that she couldn’t move. This was a vision-dream. Ginny had had them since she could remember, but they always meant something. She wondered what this one meant. The voices suddenly became audible, and she caught her name. “That kittypet- I think her name is Ginny- I’ve seen her looking into the forest many times.” The black and white cat said. This was true. Ginny had hopped up onto the fence and looked into the forest many times. “Do we think we should-” “No.” The black and white cat interrupted the ginger cat. “Kittypets…” The voices suddenly became inaudible again, and Ginny was plunged into darkness.
