Loved it!
Funny and entertaining from beginning to end. I adore everything about this series.
Better to buy separately
Assassin = 3.5 stars (it was just okay, eh)
Commander = 3 stars (I thought it went downhill towards the end)
Centurion = Negative 5 stars (I hated this one. I honestly hate how the lead woman was portrayed - give up being a general to follow someone else around because that’s the difference between careers for men and women- sarcasm here)
General = 4.5 to 5 stars (this one was excellent. If they all could be as good as this. The story had me enthralled, excited, suspense filled- it was an excellent story)
If I could do over, knowing what I knew now, I would only have purchased the one about Kenna and the General and not this entire volume.

Just found this author and finished volume one and two. Amazing storyline and series, love the characters so much! I will say, that after a while, like all stories in this genre, things can become a little recipe - these only slightly do. I was uber surprised to find my favorite couple above all has been the fourth book in volume two - Kenna and Xaan. The glimpses of their story right from the start in book one of volume one and throughout the rest of the books, leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting for their story and it does not disappoint. It is by far the best and most interesting.
