Customer Reviews
All fans of horror stories and mysteries should read this book!
Water Witch is the only book I’ve read by Deborah LeBlanc, but I’m convinced that she is a great writer! From looking up her books online, I’ve found that horror isn’t the only fictional genre she has written in, and her horror novels seem to be few and far between, but she is definitely a must-read author for fans of horror and suspense. The same could not be more true of Water Witch!!! I enjoyed reading every spooky, tense page of this terrifying story of children who are abducted and buried up to their necks in the Louisiana bayou as part of a deranged man’s deadly ritual for immortality. I was kept spellbound with suspense as the main character Dunny, a woman with unique psychic powers tried to help find them in time to save their lives. I enjoyed the creepy passages about ghostly activity that seemed to been aroused by the two children’s abduction. The story sped like a missile to a swift but harrowing climax. How does it all turn out? Are the kids rescued before the murderous madman can complete his deadly ritual? Read and find out for yourself! A terrifying story that entertains by delivering a super-punch of heart-stopping psychological terror while injecting readers with a powerful jolt of supernatural dread and palpable suspense! A masterpiece!
