Twelve Ways create a thousand tangled paths.
Hatched from an egg but unable to shift into dragon form, Jathen is a Moot among the Tazu. His rightful throne is forbidden him because of his transformative handicap, and neither his culture nor his religion offer acceptance of his perceived flaws.
Driven by wounded anger, Jathen strikes out across the vast world beyond Tazu borders, desperate to find a place where he feels accepted and whole. Though he travels with the most trusted of companions, sabotage and conspiracy soon strike his quest. Jathen and his allies must struggle against man and magic alike, at the mercy of forces beyond their ken.
As Jathen presses on, his questions of belonging are surrounded by more of identity, loyalty, and betrayal. Where will the path of his destiny lead, and will he follow or fall?

Way Walkers for the win!!!
I have to say this book was everything I expected it to be and more. I love the Way Walkers world and getting to see another side to it just enhanced the experience even more. Cannot wait to see what else the author has in store for us. 'For freewill shall choose between the paths fate has laid.'
Way Walkers:Tangled Paths
I can't believe I waded thru this book because I liked the character, Jathen, wanting to be there when something GOOD happened to him....instead he loses all his friends, nothing really is settled in his life and the story "ends", no, make that stops, with the reader and Jathen hanging.... Either the stopping point is a shill to entice readers to buy more books or just a stupid smug ending.... Either way, this writer is off my list....and I'll be angry for the rest of the day....
