"Utterly engaging, terrifying, and unputdownable, this novel will haunt readers and have them wanting more from Kelly.” — Booklist, Starred Review
Erin Kelly, the masterful author of He Said/She Said, delivers another intense, irresistible novel of psychological suspense in We Know You Know.
You can't keep the secret.
You can't tell the truth.
You can't escape the past...
Marianne was seventeen when she fled her home in Nusstead – leaving behind her family, her boyfriend, Jesse, and the body they buried. Now, thirty years later, forced to return to in order to help care for her sick mother, she can feel the past closing around her. And Jesse, who never forgave her for leaving in the first place, is finally threatening to expose the truth.
Marianne will do anything to protect the life she's built, the husband and daughter who must never know what happened all those years ago. Even if it means turning to her worst enemy for help... But Marianne may not know the whole story – and she isn't the only one with secrets they'd kill to keep.

Thrilling
This was the first book I have read by author Erin Kelly, and I am so glad to say it did not disappoint! Stone Mothers for those of you not familiar with the term means asylum or mental hospital. It was a dark looming building that many were afraid of. Including Marianne whom this book centers around. What starts out as a loving sweet gesture by her husband of an apartment housed in a former Stone Mother turns out to be a horror. This book is filled with dark secrets, twists, turns and thrilling moments all centered around a former asylum. I think what drew me to this book first is the concept of taking a former dark looming building and turning it into a home. I admit I am guilty of watching those ghost hunting shows where all the scary things happen in these old buildings. I was blown out of the water by this book. Rich, vivid writing with a mystery I didn't quite figure out until the very end. Love it!
